We begrijpen het, een kite reis boeken roept vaak veel vragen op. Hier vind je alles wat je moet weten voordat je met ons het water op gaat. Heb je een vraag die hier niet bij staat, stuur ons dan gerust een berichtje!
Kan ik meedoen als complete beginner?
Ja! Al onze reizen zijn geschikt voor elk niveau. Beginners starten met lessen die zijn afgestemd op hun ervaring, terwijl gevorderde kiters zich kunnen richten op progressie en freestyle.
Zitten lessen inbegrepen in de reizen?
Lessen zijn optioneel — je kunt zelf kiezen of je ze wilt volgen of niet. De beschikbare opties zijn privélessen, duolessen (voor 2 personen) of kleine groepslessen (maximaal 4 deelnemers). Daarnaast bieden we gevorderde clinics aan voor kiters die hun skills verder willen ontwikkelen.
Moet ik mijn eigen kite materiaal meenemen?
Tijdens de lessen is al het materiaal inbegrepen. We werken met kitesurf school Kitemobile, dus je rijdt altijd met hoogwaardig en goed onderhouden materiaal. Buiten de lestijden kun je materiaal huren tegen een gereduceerd tarief of je eigen spullen meenemen als je dat liever hebt.
Wat gebeurd er als er geen wind is?
Elke locatie biedt verschillende activiteiten voor dagen zonder wind. Afhankelijk van de bestemming kun je gaan kajakken, stand-up paddlen, surfen, snowboarden of de omgeving verkennen. Er is altijd iets leuks te doen, dus je verveelt je nooit, zelfs zonder wind. Eventuele lessen die niet door kunnen gaan, krijg je als tegoed bij Kitemobile, dat je kunt gebruiken in Nederland of tijdens een volgende reis
Kan ik alleen meedoen, of alleen met een groep?
Beide is mogelijk. Veel mensen reizen alleen en vinden snel contact met anderen tijdens de reis. Natuurlijk ben je ook welkom om mee te gaan met vrienden of als groep.
Zijn de reizen geschikt voor kinderen?
Ja, afhankelijk van de locatie en leeftijd. Sommige bestemmingen bieden lessen aan voor kinderen vanaf ongeveer 8 jaar. Neem contact op om te bekijken wat het beste werkt voor jouw gezin.
Hoe zit het met eten en maaltijden?
Op alle locaties organiseren we verschillende gezamenlijke diners voor wie mee wil doen, maar deelname is niet verplicht. De accommodaties liggen altijd dicht bij restaurants of strandbars, en op sommige bestemmingen zijn er ook mogelijkheden om zelf te koken. Wat er precies bij de reis is inbegrepen verschilt per reis; in sommige gevallen is dat alleen ontbijt en soms ook andere maaltijden.
Hoe boek en betaal ik?
Boeken is eenvoudig via de reispagina’s. Je kiest eerst je gewenste reis en data, vervolgens het type accommodatie en of je lessen wilt volgen. Daarna kun je eventueel extra’s toevoegen, zoals materiaalhuur of aanvullende activiteiten.
Wat zijn de leeftijdsvereisten en regels voor deelnemers?
Deelnemers vanaf 8 jaar kunnen meedoen in het gezelschap van een ouder of voogd. Jongere kinderen kunnen in overleg deelnemen, maar moeten altijd worden begeleid. Iedereen van 18 jaar of ouder kan zelfstandig deelnemen.
Hoe kom ik bij de bestemming van de reis?
Deelnemers zijn zelf verantwoordelijk voor het boeken van hun vlucht of ander vervoer naar de bestemming, maar we helpen graag met advies en planning. Eenmaal aangekomen wordt het vervoer van de luchthaven naar de accommodatie geregeld. Je wordt opgehaald en rechtstreeks naar je verblijf gebracht, zodat alles soepel en stressvrij verloopt
Heb ik een reisverzekering nodig?
Ja, we raden sterk aan om een geldige reis- en ongevallenverzekering te hebben voor je reis. Dit zorgt voor dekking bij medische noodsituaties, onderbrekingen van de reis of andere onverwachte gebeurtenissen tijdens je verblijf. Een goede verzekering geeft rust, zodat je volledig kunt genieten van je kitesurf- of snowkitingavontuur.
