We hit National TV! Snowkiting in the Dutch Countryside with RTL 4

When the forecast turns white in the North of the Netherlands, we don't just stay inside for hot cocoa. At Kitereizen.nl, we gear up. Together with our partners at Kitemobile, we headed to the expansive snow-covered fields of Drenthe for an epic session. It was so unique that the national news show RTL 4 Editie NL joined us to capture the action!

Turning the Dutch landscape into a winter playground

While we usually travel to the Alps or Norway, this week Drenthe was the place to be. No dikes or polders here—just vast, open fields that transformed into a white paradise.

Snowkiting in the Netherlands is pure freedom. With just a light breeze and our kites, we used the Dutch countryside as our personal playground, reaching speeds you’d normally only hit on the water.
